What are Clairvoyants

What are clairvoyants? Many people are familiar with the term "psychic", but not nearly as many people understand the many different branches of psychic abilities and gifts. Depending on a particular individual's psychic background, one can have a vast range of extrasensory skills that they pride themselves on. To give you a basic, universal idea of what clairvoyants are or could be like, the roots of the word were originally derived from the French language. In French, "clair" means "clear" while "voyant" means "seeing". These two distinct delineations need to be understood both in their literal and non-literal contexts, with their protracted meanings kept within a psychic perspective. The words "medium", "psychic" and "clairvoyant" all have strongly connected, codependent and intersecting elucidations.

Initially, in the minds of people who are relatively unfamiliar with the idea of psychics, or, if someone has never sought the guidance and counsel of any clairvoyants before in their life, there could be a certain amount of uncertainty in regards to their insinuations. Clairvoyance is commonly defined as the ability to see things clearly and to feel energy beyond the normal human capacity of sense. Some people may have heard it referred to as being a form of ESP, or the "sixth sense". Clairvoyants are able to actually see the energy, pictures and visions of the spirit world with or without their physical eyes. Most clairvoyants are able to both visualize and receive energy within themselves through the third eye (aka the "third eye"), while they are also capable of extending themselves beyond their physical body and past the shroud of all space, time and matter. For example, a clairvoyant might be able to contact a person's spirit guides or deceased loved ones residing on the other side. Telepathy might be used with people and animals alike.

Typically, a clairvoyant medium will be gifted with a powerful sense of intuitive ability through which they are able to foresee a specific series of events having lead to a client's current set of circumstances. In gaining insight to their client's situation, they might also choose to provide guidance on how these events might be altered or changed altogether for the sake of his own personal benefit. Professional clairvoyants usually understand the importance of honoring and maintaining their gifts in a positive way so that they might be able to help others in need of counseling or healing.
