What is a Clairvoyant

If you have craved insight into the future, or information on some subject that you cannot discern with your senses, then a clairvoyant may be the answer for your needs.

Clairvoyance is the ability see or sense events, people, objects and other matters beyond what is possible using the human senses. The word is derived from French 'clair' meaning 'clear' and 'voyance' meaning 'vision.' A clairvoyant then is someone who uses clairvoyance to find answers for their patrons.

The clairvoyant usually senses that they have a special gift at a young age. As the mature, they gradually develop this 'sixth sense' to a point where they can control what they see. Some clairvoyants claim to use what is known as the 'third eye,' a reference possibly to the pineal gland, to sense things that normal people cannot see.

People with such abilities are frequently mentioned in historical literature. They are very similar in a sense to other individuals with paranormal abilities including prophets and necromancers. Everyone from kings to paupers have used their services.

People who have questions that they cannot answer through normal means will often consult with such gifted individuals. In some cases, the clairvoyant may ask the visitor questions regarding the subject at hand. In other instances, they may simply commune with person and are thus able to sense what information is sought.

People may come wanting to know their future as they do with fortune tellers. In many cases, they may be seeking information on something or someone that is lost or missing. Or they may be interested in solving something that happened in the past. For example, they may ask what happened during a crime if they have doubts on the official version of that incident.

In fact, you can ask a clairvoyant about information or advice on any subject from family matters to finances and love relationships.

While in the past, you would have to personally visit such specialists, now you can consult with them both over the phone and online. You do not have to be there in person to utilize the services of most people with paranormal abilities. Some can even consult with you using chat messengers, so that you can contact them practically from anywhere using your laptop or mobile device. Clairvoyants have experience and training as counselors and they are naturally empathic and compassionate as a result of their gifts.
